Applying a chemical solution to the skin to remove its outermost layers is known as a chemical peel. The new skin that forms is silkier. You may need to go through the process more than time to get results from a light or medium peel.
Professional peels are effective resurfacing and exfoliating agents because they hasten the turnover of skin cells. The primary goal of chemical peels is to remove the dull, lifeless, blemished, and wrinkled outermost layers of skin and reveal the healthier, younger-appearing skin underneath. A Variety of Chemical Peels
Chemical peels at South County Med Spa & Wellness Center are a form of skin resurfacing. One might choose a chemical peel according to the needs of their skin. There are typically three levels of chemical peels:
- Light Peel:
It is a mild chemical peel that removes the epidermis, or the top layer of skin. Mild peels are effective against acne, fine lines, dryness, and skin discolouration. A little chemical peel can be done every two weeks if desired.
- Medium Peel:
Medium-depth chemical peels have more potency. The dead epidermis and dermis layers of skin are shed. The uppermost layer of the dermis is the middle layer of skin. Acne scars, deep wrinkles, and an uneven skin tone are all treated effectively with medium peels. To get the results you want, repeat medium chemical peel treatments.
- Deep chemical peels:
Chemical peels that go deep into the dermis are significantly more effective. Deeper lines, acne scars, and even precancerous moles may benefit from this treatment. In most cases, it is optional to repeat the process.
Results

What To Expect:
After a thorough cleansing and exfoliation (known as "derma planing"), your licenced aesthetician will apply a peel solution tailored to your specific skin issues. peels are available at two price points at South County Med Spa & Wellness Center. A high-end chemical peel must be noticed. Treatment for the face, neck, and chest, extractions, a pre-treatment masque, Peel-Toner solution, treatment serums, and finishing products take roughly 60 minutes during the luxury peel.
